• 1" Horn Tweeter - There's loud and then there's horn tweeter loud. The difference between these speakers and the others is the 1" horn tweeter that delivers maximum distance, volume, clarity, and everything else you would want in a tweeter. Horn tweeters were originally used in boats for tower speakers to deliver clarity to the people being towed 50 feet behind the boat. Now, horn tweeters are available for hull-mounted speakers. But, don't say we didn't warn you, these speakers are freaking loud.
• 300W RMS Power Handling - At 300W RMS, these speakers handle more power than virutally all other 8" marine speakers. The more power speakers can handle, the more power you can send to them. More power means louder volume, more clarity, and better sound quality.
• Both Grille Styles Included - Both the black, six-spoke sport style grilles and the stainless steel mesh grilles are included in the box. You can select the grille style that you like best.
• Color Optix RGB LEDs - Wiring the RGB LEDs in your marine speakers can be a headache, but not with Rockford Fosgate's Color Optix RGB LEDs. The PMX-RGB and the Color Optix cables (both sold separately) are designed to be plug and play. Plug one end of the cable into the RGB LED controller and the other end of the cable into the speaker. No cutting, twisting, crimping, soldering, or heat shrinking required. The Color Optix RGB LEDs save you time and a headache.
• Element Ready - There's no standard for "marine grade", but with Rockford Fosgate you know that the products are designed to withstand the harshest outdoor elements including, water, UV, salt, dirt, wind, vibration, and corrosion. These are not "1-2 Season" speakers. These are designed to last.
