Rockford updated and upgrade the M2 speakers with an all new, 1" tweeter made from a proprietary material, PXNX. This hybrid tweeter gives you the volume of a metal dome tweeter with the smoothness of a soft dome. The M2 speakers come with black, open style grilles while also allowing you to add the stainless steel mesh that Rockford marine speakers are known for.
